Hatem ElBidweihy
Hatem is a tenured associate professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the United States Naval Academy. After completing his Ph.D. at the George Washington University, he was awarded the Dimitris N. Chorafas Foundation Award, and was later appointed as an assistant professor at the United States Naval Academy.
Hatem's research interests sit at the intersection of electrical engineering and applied physics and fall within the field of characterizing and modeling functional magnetic materials. His teaching philosophy adopts active-learning strategies to inspire lifelong learning.
